As with any tropical island there are drier and wetter times of the year to visit. The high season, or dry season, falls between May and October. The busiest months of the year are definitely July and August, and it is advisable to avoid January if you can as it does tend to be the wettest month of the year. And, as with any tropical island, you will normally get rain all year round so if you are looking for a bargain you can still travel during the off season and you may get lucky with the weather!
