Description: A small well looked after hotel by the beach with a vast fantasy swimming pool and a wonderful view of the Caribbean sea. It is situated in Crown Point, the liveliest part of the island, with a wide selection of restaurants, bars and places to go. The hotel has its own small sandy beach passing into a coral reef. The public beach of Store Bay is only 5 minutes walking distance. Located at Bay of Sandy Point in the tourist centre of Crown Point, close to the airport, bars, restaurants and discos within walking distance, 15 minutes drive to the capital, 5 minutes to famous Pigeon Point beach.
Rooms: Tropikist Beach Hotel features fifty-four (54) distinct rooms. Divided into twenty-seven (27) Standard Rooms; fifteen (15) Superior Rooms, and twelve (12) Deluxe Rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned, ocean view, cable television viewing, direct dial telephone and standard security features. The bathrooms include tub with shower in the superior rooms and shower stalls in the Standard rooms. Shaver outlets, hair dryers, ironing boards, safety deposit box and amenities are provided in the Deluxe room.
Facilities: 2 pools , sunken pool bar, children's pool, whirlpool with waterfall, sundeck, beach lounges, volleyball, cricket, TV lounge, dive shop (extra fee charged for diving). Two (2) pools, a children's pool and one with swim up pool bar and beautifully landscaped waterfall. Tropikist also has a new on-site restaurant. Also available are beautiful sea-bathing facilities with a lovely expanse of sandy beach. Games of cricket and volleyball add to the fun. Tours of the island's major attractions can be organised by our front desk.
Dining: Two restaurants, Bayside Grill and Bar and Sunset Restaurant offer the discerning diner a select variety of both local and international cuisine. Our restaurants are ideally situated overlooking the Caribbean Sea, creating an ambiance in which our guests can relax and enjoy their meal. The Bayside Grill and Bar features a large horseshoe shaped swim-up bar.
