Itinerary

Days 1 - Day 4 (Cape Town)

Cape Town

Africa's southernmost city is a proud and picturesque destination on South Africa's Cape Peninsula. Dominated by Table Mountain, Cape Town's immediately recognisable skyline welcomes you to an intriguing and eclectic city full of distinct neighbourhoods. Discover a unique mix of cultures, acclaimed restaurants, fascinating museums and a vibrant beachfront cafe culture. Sightseers may want to join a city tour to help get their bearings, or head out on the water to Robben Island, the former island-prison that is now an informative monument to the country's troubled past.

Sea Kayaking & Cape Point

Travel to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Enjoy the breath-taking views from Cape Point Lighthouse and travel to the most South-Western point of Africa, the Cape of Good Hope. In the late afternoon, drive along the coastal route via Noordhoek, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Hout Bay and the Atlantic Seaboard back to your city based hotel.

5 (Stellenbosch)

Stellenbosch

It is time to leave the city behind and head toward another of South Africa's most famous attractions: its wine. South Africa's winelands produce some of the world's best wine but this is not just a destination for wine connoisseurs. Beginners can learn the basics at a wine and cheese tutorial, while foodies will be enthralled by the food scene. All this is set amid a backdrop of stunning mountain scenery and some beautiful Cape Dutch architecture.

Day 6 (Oudtshoorn)

Oudtshoorn

Depart the winelands via a scenic mountain pass on your drive into the famous Karoo. The lush, verdant vineyards give way to the stark beauty of this semi-desert region that is dotted by sheep and ostrich farms. Upon arrival into Oudtshoorn pay a visit to one of the ostrich farms or perhaps the nearby Cango Caves where stalactites and stalagmites create an amazing underground adventure.
