The Serondella Game Lodge is set along the banks of the entrance to the Monwana River, in the centre of the Thornybush Nature Reserve - an idyllic safari destination. This comfortable lodge features a boma, bar, swimming pool and viewing hides that are set up high to maximise views of over 500 types of bird as well as other wildlife. Only up to 8 guests can stay at one time therefore ensuring an intimate atmosphere and personalised services.
Elevated viewing hides allow bird enthusiasts ideal opportunity to see the game reserve’s 507 different species of bird as well as regular visits by other animals. Surprise bush and boma dinners as well as intimate sunset dinners for two on the viewing hides can be arranged at the lodge.
Serondella means the place of the elephant and they are habitual patrons to the lodge’s two flanking waterholes, allowing excellent opportunities for spectacular photographs and videos from the comfort of the lodge’s lounge or suites.
There are 3 carefully designed suites in addition to the optional family suite, accommodating a maximum of eight guests ensuring guests complete privacy and stunning vistas. The family suite is completely self contained with three suites, two downstairs and one suite upstairs, a reception room with open fireplace between the two downstairs bedrooms.
