The Alila Manggis offers a peaceful escape - tucked away between the sea and Bali's highly spiritual Mount Agung. It boasts a calm beachfront in Manggis, Eastern Bali and has been built within a coconut grove. There are 55 guest rooms including two suites, all of which are all ocean-facing with unobstructed views across the straits to NUSA Penida. Modern Balinese design and architecture blends well with the natural surroundings. The four, two-storey buildings are built around a pool framed with palm trees and overlooking the ocean. Located within the regency of Karangasem, nearby to the village of Candi Dasa, the hotel offers an ideal position to discover unspoiled east Bali. The hotel offers many tours, such as walking to enjoy the beautiful scenery, others include tours of local villages, the water palace and many temples.

All UK Passport Holders require a Visa to enter Indonesia.

A Visa On Arrival can be purchased at all major airports for IDR500,000 (approximately US$35) which can be paid for in cash or by credit card, or an e-visa can be organised in advance at: https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/ 

Bali Tourism Levy 

Starting from February 14th, 2024, the Bali Provincial Government will enforce a mandatory Tourism Tax of IDR 150,000 (approx. US$10) for all international tourists arriving in to Bali by boat or plane.

This new tax is applicable to all foreigners visiting Bali on a tourism visa, and it is a one-time payment for the duration of their stay in Indonesia. To avoid delays on arrival you can pre-pay the arrival tax by https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/ or you can pay when you arrive in to Bali. This arrival tax only applies to arrivals into the Island of Bali.
