Day 1

Arrival Labhuhan Bajo - Rinca Island - Komodo Island

Disembark at Rinca Island, home to the mighty Komodo Dragon as well as a range of other wildlife including deer, horses, buffalos, pigs and megapodes. Trek through the jungle where you may spot more dragons hiding in the grassy undergrowth.

Komodo Dragons are good runners and swimmers, and, when short of food, these prehistoric looking animals will resort to eating their young!  Filled with deadly toxic saliva and venom, these fascinating creatures are not the kind of animal that you want to get too friendly with!

Return to the boat where lunch will be served on board as you sail towards Komodo Island.

INCLUDES : Lunch, Dinner

Day 2

Komodo Island - Rinca Island - Labuhan Bajo

After breakfast, disembark on Komodo Island and begin the walk across the island to Banunggulung (approximately 2 kms) which is a former feeding site and one of the best places to spot Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat.

Komodo's are the largest lizard in the world and can grow to 3 metres in length and weigh up to 65 kilograms. It is estimated that there are around 2,000 dragons on the island, as well as a wide variety of other wildlife such as wild boar, deer and buffalo. The island is also excellent for bird watchers.

Lunch will be on board, before arriving at Pantai Merah (Pink Beach), so named because the red coral on the seabed breaks off with the tidal changes and mixes with the sand, causing it to turn a pale pink colour.
Jump overboard and snorkel in the clear waters, where you can see an incredible array of fish including parrotfish, clown fish and, if you are lucky other sea creatures, including turtles. There is plenty of time to swim and snorkel here and to relax on the beach before overnighting on the boat.

INCLUDES : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 (departure day)

Depending on the flight schedule, transfer directly to the airport for your onward flight.
