Jamaica boasts fantastic temperatures throughout the year, averaging between 27C and 30C. The summer months of July and August frequently hit temperatures of more than 33C, while the cooler winter months of January and February still offer fantastic highs of 26C.
There are two short rainy seasons in Jamaica, one from May to June and one from September to October, with showers more frequent on the east coast of the island. However, due to Jamaica's tropical climate these showers are brief and often offer welcome respite from the high temperatures.
