Begin your Arabian adventure in Oman’s capital, Muscat. Arrive into the airport where you’ll be met by a representative and transferred to the Shangri-La Al Waha, a dedicated family resort with plenty of activities to keep little ones happy including daily movie screenings and a lazy river.

Tucked between the Al Hajar Mountains, the Arabian Sea and vast desert landscapes, Muscat is a city where the traditional and contemporary sit side by side. Take time to walk through the port district and Old Muscat with its white-wash buildings, domed architecture and arabesque window. Consider visiting the Bayat al-Baranda museum to learn about the city’s cultural history or head to the souk to haggle over slippers and spices.
