Seychelles Holidays
Full of pristine white sand beaches, clear aqua blue waters and beautiful palm trees. The seasons of the Seychelles are defined by trade winds. Warmer from October to April, May through to September usher in cooler drier weather. March to April and October to November is the turnaround periods and is normally calm and windless. Temperatures range from 24 C  to 32 C throughout the year. Accommodation can be hard to find and hotel prices do increase during peak seasons from December to January and July to August. The Easter period is also very busy so booking in advance is paramount if you’re looking for that great Seychelles deal. A Seychelles holiday offers sublime opportunities for swimming, snorkelling and pure relaxation. There are great opportunities for island hoping between the islands that currently all can be visited but do not all offer accommodation. Across the Seychelles you will find proud national monuments, national reserves and marine parks as well as breathtaking natural wonders.  Excursions around the islands will introduce you to the pleasure of glass bottom boating or a wide choice of water sports. With the opportunity to play a few holes of golf, tennis, horse riding or even guided nature tours, Seychelles caters to all holidaymakers needs. Not forgetting the nightlife where you can take a spin at the roulette table at the casino, enjoy some of the local bars and restaurants offering some unforgettable Creole and international cuisine. A Seychelles holiday offer an island country with no land boundaries, the Seychelles is surely the ideal escape. Located in both eastern and southern hemispheres the Seychelles is an archipelago of 155 tropical islands with the majority small and uninhabitable. The Seychelles became an independent republic in 1976 after two hundred years of colonial rule and since then have grown and managed to create one of the top holiday exotic holiday destinations today. A visit to the Seychelles as much as it is for the picture perfect views and weather, you cannot come on holiday to the Seychelles without being forced to experience and take back with you some of the wonderful culture they have to offer.

The music of the Seychelles is diverse, the music of the islands are a mixture of multiple influences from European French folk and pop to Indian and Arcadian music. With an enormous influx of holidaymakers coming every year, the foreign influences are not seen as the culture remains emphatically French. Often regarded as a couple or honeymoon destination the Seychelles is probably one the most romantic holiday spots worldwide. Most of the Seychelles resorts and hotels offer complimentary benefits or special offers for honeymooners and whilst it’s perfect for the serious romantics looking for peace and privacy it also can be and has been renowned for the perfect family destination. Whilst on holiday in the Seychelles, the islands are a great relaxing, less demanding yet educational history holiday for the kids and many of the hotels in the Seychelles offer suitable children’s programmes to keep them entertained. With so many islands making up the Seychelles there are certainly some that are a must see upon setting down in this peaceful, tranquil country. Mahe is the largest of the Seychelles archipego and is the most developed and heavily populated island. The southern part of the island still hosts deserted beaches and the northern urban enclave which hosts the international airport and capital city, Victoria. Mahe has a spectacular mountain range with the islands highest peak, Morne Seychellois and all around this magnificent range are acres of beautiful national parks. Just 21 miles north-east of Mahe is the popular island of Praslin, which is a popular stop for cruise liners. With one of the world’s most exquisite beaches the Anse Lazio which is the island most favourite beach. Praslin is know as the exclusive home of the ‘coco de mer’ palm which produces the world’s largest nut and nests some of the rarest birds like the fruit pigeon and black parrot. Cheap holidays to the Seychelles are plentiful and with the rapidly changing accommodation seen in the Seychelles visitors now have a wider choice when deciding in which Seychelles hotel or resort to stay at.
