Tortilis Camp

plus

Glorious views, mighty elephant herds and boutique safari tents await at this fantastic camp in Amboseli, Kenya.

Tortilis Camp is one of the top places to see elephants in Kenya, thanks to its superb location in Amboseli together with the camp’s expert guides who know the local elephants by name. The guides are local Maasai, who will be delighted to show you their home on guided walks through the wilderness, learning about their traditions, way of life and the wildlife they share their homeland with. As for the camp itself, you can expect a luxurious, glamping-style stay amidst nature.

About Tortilis Camp

Tortilis Camp dazzles with its astonishing views across the endless plains to Mount Kilimanjaro, a sight which you can appreciate from virtually any corner of the camp. Tortilis is made up of less than 20 light and airy, boutique tents which make camping in the wilderness an absolute delight, especially with their en-suite bathrooms and veranda, it's the perfect spot to watch nature at its best. Head out with the guides to get up close to majestic elephants – there are more than a thousand of them in the park – as well as other wildlife residing throughout the area, and don’t miss the chance to meet a Maasai community, too. After a busy day out, cool off in Tortilis Camp’s enticing pool and tuck into freshly prepared fare in the open-air dining space, complete with panoramic views of your wild environs.
