Day 1 (Namib Desert - 350km drive)

Your journey starts by traveling south into the heart of the Namib Desert, the oldest desert on earth with awe-inspiring landscapes and majestic dunes.

Arriving at your lodge, situated near the entrance to Sesriem, you have the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy a late afternoon walk or take part in optional activities offered by your lodge.

Day 1 (Namib Desert - 350km drive)

Day 2 (Namib Desert - Sossusvlei - 150km)

This day calls for an early rise to catch the sunrise over the mighty dunes of the Namib Desert. Explore the surreal landscape of Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, a white clay pan surrounded by enormous dunes and dotted with ancient camelthorn trees. On your way back, visit the Sesriem Canyon, an 18 million year old gorge eroded into the conglomerate floor.

Day 2 (Namib Desert - Sossusvlei - 150km)

Day 3 & Day 4 (Sossusvlei - Swakopmund - 360km)

Today you travel via the Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund, a coastal town tucked between the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the Welwitschia plains and the aptly named Moon Landscape on this scenic drive.

In Swakopmund, you will have the option of participating in some of the adventurous activities on offer, such as scenic flights, dolphin cruises, quad biking, parasailing, and dune boarding.

Day 3 & Day 4 (Sossusvlei - Swakopmund - 360km)

On your way to Damaraland, visit the largest fur seal colony in southern Africa at Cape Cross. Your lodge for the evening is situated in the heart of the Damaraland where game such as rhino, desert elephant and kudu roam freely.

A visit to the Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes is particularly rewarding in the later afternoon. On the way to your lodge you can stop at various local street curios to purchase handcrafted artifacts and a wide variety of minerals and gemstones.

Day 5 (Swakopmund - Damaraland  - 340km drive)

After breakfast, visit Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an “open-air art gallery” that boasts over 2,500 different bushman rock engravings and paintings.

On the way to your lodge you can also visit a traditional Himba village and learn about the traditional values and cultures of one of the last truly nomadic tribes on earth. Travel further north to Etosha National Park where you will overnight this evening.

Day 6 (Damaraland - Etosha National Park - 320km)

Entering Etosha National Park on a game drive in the early morning, your time will be devoted purely to the abundant wildlife found here.

The park surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan, and is home to 4 of the Big Five - elephant, lion, leopard and rhino. The park’s waterholes support a diversity of mammals and birds, including species such as black-faced impala, cheetah, and Namibia’s smallest antelope, the Damara dik-dik.

You have the entire day available for extensive game viewing experiences. No game drive here is the same; all waterholes hold new surprises and attract different animal species that you may not have seen on previous game drives.

Departing Etosha National Park, you travel south through Namibia’s maize triangle with its majestic Otavi Mountain range. This is one of the most scenic locations in Namibia - perfect for undertaking scenic walks or guided nature safaris within the private nature reserves.

Day 9 (Etosha National Park - Central Namib-380km)

After breakfast, depart your lodge and travel south towards Windhoek. After strolling through one of the large craft markets in Okahandja, your route takes you between high mountain ranges back to the capital city, Windhoek, where your tour ends.
