Ecotourism is a big deal in the Bahamas, with many resorts having been awarded the Blue Flag for their commitment to the coastal environment, making their beaches particularly attractive. Guides will escort you to the Blue Holes National Park, where you can see incredible geological formations, as well as the local iguana population. You can see colonies of West Indian flamingos in the southernmost district of Inagua and try to spot the elusive Bahama parrot on the Abaco islands.
