Karen Blixen Camp

The design of Karen Blixen Camp takes inspiration from the traditional explorer camps of 1920s Africa, as described by the author in her infamous novel. You can therefore expect polished wood floors in your luxury tent, furnished with colonial style accents and huge, comfortable beds; as well as en suite bathrooms. Elsewhere in the camp you can take your pick from soaking in the swimming pool, succumbing to a soothing massage or tucking into delicious cuisine which is also inspired by Karen Blixen’s favourite recipes. Tear yourself away to make the most of superb game drives, birding tours, cultural visits to local schools and communities and of course bush walks; you could come across anything from elephants to leopards, hippos to lions and so much more!
