Casablanca Activities

Casablanca’s most notable landmark – and tourist drawcard – is the Sour Jdid Mosque, the largest in Morocco and one of the few open to non-Muslims thanks to hour-long English language tours. Learn a little of the history and construction of the Habous Quarter on an architectural tour or hit the beach – either swimming, surfing and sunbathing along La Corniche or by paying entry to one of the beach clubs.

It is said that food served up in the restaurants of Casablanca is consistently good, almost as good as home-cooked meals! Dine on aromatic and subtly spicy couscous and tagine dishes, feast on seafood pulled straight from the Atlantic Ocean and sip sweet mint tea no matter what time of the day. And for a touch of Hollywood glamour head to Rick’s Café, named after the bar from 1940s the black-and-white movie, Casablanca (what else!)
