Your adventure begins with your arrival in Cape Town. On the fourth day of your trip you’ll leave Cape Town behind as you tour the Cape Winelands. These historic estates, characterized by distinctive Cape Dutch-style buildings with thatched roofs and massive vineyards, date back centuries. Discover the most popular and charming wine estates at the small towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl – and be sure to sample a little of the local produce for yourself!
For the next two nights, you’ll stay at Franschhoek Country House & Villas. A restored manor house and former perfumery, it’s situated on the outskirts of Franschhoek and is surrounded by enchanting vineyards and majestic mountains. Almost all rooms lead out onto private balconies or private patios with magnificent views. During summer, guests can relax at the two pools with beautiful mountain vistas, visit the boutique wine-farms in Franschhoek, or stroll in the gorgeous town.
