Soak up the panoramic views that stretch to the Drakensberg Mountains in the distance from Ulusaba Rock Lodge. A unique lodge partially built into the granite rock it rests on, this Richard Branson owned property delivers a luxury safari experience. A small collection of rooms and suites each have their own distinct style that draws on African tribal influences – our favourites are the ones that come with a private plunge pool. When you aren’t heading out on one of the two daily game drives in search of the Big 5, there are spa treatments available, an outdoor swimming pool heated in the winter months and the lounge for books, movies and pre-dinner drinks.

    Local and seasonal ingredients are used in pan-African dishes created by the on-site chefs, while bread and pastries are baked fresh daily. Dining locations range from on the sundeck, in the boma pit or in the bush to private dining in the wine cellar. All meals and drinks while at Ulusaba Rock Lodge are included in your holiday package.
