This eco-friendly tented camp is perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater overlooking the wildlife-abundant crater floor.

Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp is a seasonal tented camp set beneath a shady acacia grove within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania. There are just eight double tents and one family tent available which offer solar power, flush toilets and large safari showers.

About Lemala Ngorogoro Tented Camp

Lemala Ngorogoro Tented Camp is a traditional safari-style camp and the ideal base from which to witness the Great Migration when thousands of wildebeest and other plains game move from Serengeti National Park to Kenya’s Maasai Mara. Situated on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, you can enjoy fantastic wildlife sightings without even leaving camp – buffalo and elephant have been known to roam the camp freely at night. Located in a quiet spot near the Lemala crater access route, the camp is the perfect secluded base while still being close to some of the area’s best game viewing destinations. Enjoy exciting 4X4 game drives into the crater (entrance is just 5 minutes’ away) or walking safaris close to home. For those who wish to learn more about the fascinating culture of Tanzania, cultural experiences are available to meet the Maasai tribes.

Local Infastructure Tax
