Dunia Camp is a private tented camp tucked beneath a canopy of acacia trees in the heart of Serengeti National Park. There are just eight safari tents available, each offering a private bathroom with flush toilets and a hot water safari bucket shower.

Dunia Camp is the ideal base for year-round game viewing but its enviable location makes it a great choice for guests wanting to witness the Great Migration when thousands of wildebeest and other plains game roam through the grounds between March and June. Situated just a short drive from the Naabi Hill gate, Dunia Camp offers the perfect opportunity to spot lion, leopard, cheetah and rare black rhino in the game-filled plains of the Serengeti. Head back into camp in the early evening after a thrilling safari and you’ll be welcomed with a glass of tamarind juice and a hot towel to wipe away the day’s dust. For something a little different, guests can even look forward to a sunrise hot air balloon safari to game watch from above.

There are two large mess tents at Dunia Camp with a main dining area and a comfortable lounge. The usual board basis is Full Board, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most drinks are included, except premium wines and spirits. Breakfast and lunch are served at individual tables while dinner is served around the main communal table.

Mandatory Insurance:

All tourists arriving into Zanzibar from 01 October 2024 will now be required to purchase a mandatory Personal Travel Insurance as advised by the Zanzibar Government

This insurance does NOT substitute your own personal travel insurance and must be purchased in addition to.

Local Infastructure Tax

There will be an infrastructure tax payable of $USD5 per person per night (including children) which must be settled locally upon check out. This tax is subject to change without notice.

Dress Code

Visitors to Zanzibar are requested to follow a modest dress code when visiting villages and local communities.
