A Visa On Arrival can be pre-purchased before travel or on arrival at your point of entry.

Mandatory Insurance:
All tourists arriving into Zanzibar from 01 October 2024 will now be required to purchase a mandatory Personal Travel Insurance as advised by the Zanzibar Government
This insurance does NOT substitute your own personal travel insurance and must be purchased in addition to.

Local Infastructure Tax
There will be an infrastructure tax payable of $USD5 per person per night (including children) which must be settled locally upon check out. This tax is subject to change without notice.
Dress Code
Visitors to Zanzibar are requested to follow a modest dress code when visiting villages and local communities.
