Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is one of Uganda’s most exclusive camps for gorilla tracking adventures in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It’s one of the closest camps to the gorillas and these rare primates have been known to frequently visit the camp. Just eight tents are available and the main camp is open-sided which means you can enjoy the incredible forest views from just about every vantage point.

The four star Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is the perfect base for guests looking to go gorilla tracking in Uganda. Nestled within the forest of Bwindi, the camp has just eight private tents, each with a personal attendant to tend to your needs. The main camp, made from timber, stone and thatch, offers open sides and an open-air lounge where you can relax and enjoy the stunning nature views. When you’re not out tracking northern Bwindi’s habituated family groups, there’s plenty more to look forward to, from birding trips and Batwa tribe experiences to relaxing spa treatments and thrilling game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Celebrate your honeymoon here to enjoy private dinners, luxurious bubble baths and couple’s spa treatments. Please note that while children are welcome at the camp, only kids over 15 years are permitted to visit the gorillas.

    There are eight tents available. Inside, they have two queen sized beds, a lounge area and en-suite bathroom with a shower and bathtub with views of the forest. The rooms can be converted into triple rooms and children aged 15 years or younger must share with an adult.
