Arrive in Zambia

On arrival at Livingstone Airport, you’ll be greeted by a local representative and transferred to your accommodation in a private vehicle.

Your accommodation sits along the banks of the Zambezi River in an area of lush riverine forest. After checking in, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax and spend at leisure.

Days 2-3: Livingstone

Victoria Falls

The next two days will be dedicated to exploring the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, or “Mosi-oa-Tunya', as it is named locally. The world’s largest waterfalls, Victoria Falls is located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, with these spectacular waterfalls spanning 1,708 metres in width and plummeting some 108 metres in height.

Here, lush rainforest trails lead to dramatic viewpoints overlooking this thunderous cascade. A guided walk through the Falls provides a close-up experience of its mighty power and surrounding mist-filled gorges.

You’ll also enjoy a serene sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, during which you can take in the enchanting surroundings while observing a plethora of wildlife, from majestic elephants and bellowing hippos to skulking crocodiles and the abundant birdlife drawn to the river’s edge.

From here, you’ll travel by road and boat to your next accommodation, set within the remote Lower Zambezi region, one of the African continent’s most pristine and least-developed safari areas.

This vast wilderness stretches along the northern banks of the Zambezi River opposite Zimbabwe’s famed Mana Pools, and is an environment defined by seasonal floodplains, shady woodlands and river channels. The Lower Zambezi region is renowned for its large concentrations of elephant, buffalo, hippo and predators including lion and leopard.

Your first afternoon introduces you to this tranquil yet wildlife-rich environment.
