Chamilandu

Beneath an ebony grove right alongside the Luangwa River in Zambia, Chamilandu is an intimate and exclusive safari camp accommodating no more than six guests at any one time. The three tree-house chalets are furnished in a wooden décor style with soft, patterned rugs and open-fronted bedrooms overlooking the river – perfect for in-bed wildlife spotting! There are daily guided walking safaris and day and evening game drives – though if you’d prefer to stay in-camp there’s a hide overlooking one of seven lagoons where you can watch hippos gliding in the water or elephants bathing themselves. Chamilandu is open to children aged 12 years and over – if you would like to visit with children younger than this, you can hire the entire camp out on a fully private basis.
