Royal Chundu Zambezi River Lodge is the only lodge set along this stretch of the Zambezi River and offers a secluded, intimate experience with just 14 rooms. Take your pick of a River Lodge Chalet or Island Lodge Suite and enjoy your own private deck overlooking the river. Spend your days relaxing beside the swimming pool, exploring the riverside by canoe or enjoying an island picnic. End off the day the right way with a sunset cruise down the river.

    Dining Experiences:
    Enjoy delicious pan-African and international cuisine prepared by the Executive Chef. There is a six course traditional dining menu with each dish paired with award-winning South African wines. 

    For something truly unique, guests can enjoy dining in the outdoor boma - a traditional barbeque with Zambian entertainment, such as drumming and Makishi dancing.

    Private dining is also available for guests who want to enjoy romantic in-room dining, a bush picnic or even a lunch or dinner on a private boat cruise.

    Island Lodge is the more private of the two lodges at Royal Royal Chund Zambezi River Lodge. Located on Katambura private island, the lodge is surrounded by waterways and two thousand year old Jackalberry trees. There are four villas at Island Lodge to choose from.
