Sindabezi Island is a luxury bush camp with a difference – you’ll be on a private island in the middle of the Zambezi River! This exclusive location, just five minutes from the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, is an idyllic retreat where you can watch elephant and other game across the flood plains from your open-sided chalet. Hurricane lamps, outdoor dining decks and comfortable lounge areas create a relaxing atmosphere – for an extra special evening head to the sand bar for a sundowner. We love the excellent range of complimentary activities and excursions on offer from daily game drives in an open-top vehicle and sunset or sunrise boat trips on the river to cultural interactions with the local people.     Dining at Sindabezi can be taken two ways: either as a communal meal where you can share the experiences of your day round the firepit or privately, set up either in or near your chalet. You’ll be served gourmet meals and a variety of drinks including house and sparkling wine. For the ultimate ‘pop up’ experience, enjoy a private picnic or sundowner at the sand bar – or dine on a traditional sampan in the middle of the river (available year-round except when the river is at its highest point)
