Zuri is the only beach on the island that doesn't have a tide that impacts the beach. Where other beaches lose water from the shore line to further out past the reef, Zuri maintains its water throughout the day which makes swimming and bathing that much more enjoyable. There is also an abundance of activities to keep you busy from kite surfing and snorkelling you will always have something to do. Should you wish for relaxation time, then head to their spice garden and enjoy the private pods and take in the beautiful aromas of the garden.

Please be advised that Zuri Zanzibar has scheduled essential maintenance from 1st to 31st May 2024.

During this period,certain areas will be undergoing renovations at different intervals:

1-15 May: The swimming pool will be temporarily unavailable.

15-22 May: The Bahari Beach Grill & Bar will closed for renovations. In the meantime, guests are invited to use the Dhow bar.

1-31 May: While the Reception area will be under construction, guests will be welcomed at the Ocean Front Suite zone, turned into the temporary reception, conveniently located next to Maisha Resto & Bar.

1-31 May: Maintenance activities will also be underway at Upendo Restaurant and Peponi Bar. Buffet style dinner will be served at Maisha Resto & Bar during this period.

Passport, Visas and Local Tax Information:

Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility, and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. We cannot accept responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements

There will be an infrastructure tax payable of $USD5 per person per night (including children) which must be settled locally upon check out. This tax is subject to change without notice.
