    For travellers who want that little bit more, Gold Premium delivers an enhanced journey experience. Accommodated in newly designed, contemporary cabins, guests have exclusive access to the Gold Premium Lounge and Gold Premium Restaurant for meals and socialising. Enjoy delicious breakfasts, two-course, regionally inspired lunches and delectable four-course dinners in beautiful surrounds, accompanied by a selection of premium beverages. Gold Premium offers some special touches to make the journey special, like priority check-in and an increased luggage allowance, a private en suite, LaGaia amenities, tour preferencing and more. Choose between a Gold Premium Twin cabin or Gold Premium Suite, which has a little more space.

Choose between Gold Twin or Single cabins, both of which provide the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day’s journey. Spend hours deep in conversation with new friends in the shared Outback Explorer Lounge, sipping on barista made coffee, or a glass of white wine. Later, make your way to the Queen Adelaide Restaurant to dine. Gold includes hearty breakfasts, two-course lunches and three-course dinners. You may also choose to complement your meal with a selection of premium wines and beverages, all included in your fare.

    Outback Explorer Lounge

    Relax in the comfortable lounges while you soak in the amazing views passing by, or enjoy the well-stocked games, books and magazines. Sample the all-inclusive range of beers, Australian wines, soft drinks and standard spirits as you mingle with your fellow travellers. The lounges are open from breakfast to late evening, and The Ghan’s Hospitality Attendants are ready with barista-style coffee and information about the regions you are passing through.

    Queen Adelaide Restaurant

    Step out of your spacious cabin and into the classical ambience of the Queen Adelaide Restaurant, where an all-inclusive menu is prepared by on-board chefs using fresh local produce. A seasonal menu features mouthwatering dishes such as saltwater barramundi and grilled kangaroo fillet. Gold fares include hearty breakfasts, two course lunches and three course dinners. Vegetarian, children’s and limited special dietary meals are available when you make your booking.     Thoughtfully appointed to embody the spirit of the train’s heritage, the Platinum Club features quartzite tabletops, timber flooring, brass fittings and leather banquette seating in tones of ash, moss and sepia, setting the scene for relaxed daytime conversation or elegant dinner with friends. Platinum Club is exclusive to Platinum, Australis Suite and Aurora Suite guests. The Platinum Club Lounge is hosted by a Platinum Host, serving drinks, cocktails and barista coffee.
