Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef is a small, exclusive cluster of luxury wilderness tents poised right on the edge of Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef.
Dining at Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef takes place at The Lodge, where gourmet meals are prepared using fresh ingredients for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Start the day watching the sun ascend over the turquoise waters during breakfast, break up discovering the natural splendour of the region with a beachside lunch, and end each evening under a canopy of glimmering stars with a sumptuous, lantern-lit three-course dinner.
The Lodge also features a help-yourself bar where you can prepare you favourite tipple, while sundowners and canapés are served before dinner.
While there isn’t a specific ‘best time’ to stay at Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef, you can plan your visit depending on the changing seasons and what you want to experience.
Whale sharks typically arrive during the autumn from March and stay through until August in spring, while humpback whales make their migration along the coast between August and October. Manta rays, dugongs and sea turtles can be spotted year-round, though larger numbers of sea turtles are present during the nesting and hatching season from October through to March.
