You'll have already experienced the breathtaking scenery of Banff National Park en route to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, but nothing really prepares you for the majesty of this upmarket hotel's location on the iconic lake. Perched on it's northeastern shore and the only hotel in the resort to offer true lakeside accommodation, the elegant Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise seemingly floats atop the stunning emerald water. 

Should you wish to spend any time in the hotel rather than enjoying hiking trails or canoeing, there is a health club complete with heated indoor pool, steam room and whirlpool, a full service spa and dining options ranging from contemporary Canadian to Italian. 

Each of the 550 rooms is comfortably furnished and appointed with all the amenities the modern traveller needs, from air-conditioning to Wi-Fi (payable) and pay movies. To truly enjoy the location we would recommend upgrading to a lake view room.
