The most well-known activities in the town of Vinales include going on the amazing excursions around the limestone mogotes and tobacco farms, exploring the superb caves such as the Gran Caverna de Santo Tomas, and hiking expeditions on the astounding mountains of the Sierra de Los Órganos. Other attractions include the charming Casa de Caridad Botanical Gardens, Museo Paleontológico, Vinales Municipal Museum, a Maroon village called Palenque, and the magnificent caves of Cueva de José Miguel, Cueva del Indio and Cueva de Santo Tomás among others in Valle de Vinales National Park, where one of the caves has been turned into a nightclub!
