From glass bottom boats that allow you to see the incredible marine life below the waves to catamaran cruises, boating tours are a popular activity in the Caribbean. Holidaymakers with a sweet tooth will adore Belmont Estate in Grenada, where guides will explain how chocolate is made from the Trinitario cocoa bean. In Jamaica, music fans can visit the birthplace of Bob Marley in Nine Mile and his last home in Kingston. In Barbados, the Mount Gay Rum factory is well worth the trip - you'll get to sample the product and buy a bottle to take home as a memento. Otherwise, no matter where you choose to take your Caribbean holiday you'll enjoy great weather and plenty of leisurely activities at your resort and on the nearby beaches.

Caribbean Food & Drink

Whether you're dining in your hotel or heading out to sample authentic cuisine, there's plenty to flavour to get your taste buds tingling across the Caribbean's many islands. Tuck into spicy curries and tender jerk chicken at a local restaurant or head to the beach for one of the many nightly BBQs that take place serving up freshly caught fish that can be enjoyed while looking out over the sea. You'll find fresh seafood in abundance from grilled grouper to succulent shellfish. Across the Caribbean, it's safe to say that what draws many is the white sand beaches and the promise of sunshine. However, those aren't the only attractions to consider. Choose to stay in Cuba's capital city of Havana to soak up the city's rich history with its architecture and museums while for couples the many bars and restaurants are ideal for wild nights out. For families, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is the perfect choice with Manati Park and Dolphin Island ready to welcome little ones who want to get up close and personal with the animals. Otherwise, stretch your legs hiking the Pitons in St Lucia, test your sailing skills in Antigua or swim with pigs in the Bahamas – an unforgettable experience.
