Trapp Family Lodge

The Trapp Family Lodge is a Swiss chalet style lodge only 15 minutes walk away from the Monteverde Reserve. The hotel has 20 rooms each with their own private balcony, some have garden views while the higher category rooms have mountain views. The lodge is in its own private reserve and you are surrounded by cloud forest while the area is especially good for bird watching. There is a restaurant with a large picture windows giving beautiful views of the hotels gardens.
