Explore the provinces of Ontario and Quebec to discover their beautifully historic cities of Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa. As you journey amongst some of eastern Canada's most well-known cities, it is the picturesque beauty that the region offers beyond the city that will blow you away. Travel along Lake Ontario from Toronto to the Thousand Islands resort region for a magical experience before heading east to taste the unique flavour of French Canada. Day 1 & 2 (Arrival and overnight in Toronto, ON)

Toronto is the capital city of Ontario, and your first stop as you embark on a journey of discovery to explore many of east coast Canada's major cities and landmarks. Offering fabulous shopping from chic vintage stores, to high-end fashions and boutiques, make sure you leave some time for browse before night falls and time turns to sampling some of Toronto's finest cuisine and vibrant nightlife. Beyond the shopping and dining, there really is some great spots to check out. Take a trip up the famed CN Tower. Standing at just over 553 metres tall, the sweeping panoramic views from this iconic symbol of Toronto and Canada are truly something to be seen. Day 3 (Toronto to Kingston - 162 Mi)

As you make your way to Kingston, take a drive through the quaint heritage towns of Prince Edward County and get a feel of the real Canadian country. Arriving in to Kingston, don't miss the opportunity to take a tour of historic Fort Henry. Located at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River, the position of the fort was a great significance to the British during the War of 1812 (Canada being a British colony at this time) who late abandoned it in 1870. It has since be restored to former glories and opened as a museum back in 1938. Drive east today, directly to Kingston, and tour Fort Henry. An alternative route to Kingston passes through the quaint heritage towns of Prince Edward County. Overnight in Kingston. En route to Montreal today, you will be entering the beautiful Thousand Islands region, where forested islands lie amid tranquil lakes.
