Day 1 to 3 (Arrival and overnight in Austin)

The Live Music Capital of the World

America’s live music capital is a friendly and photogenic city. Enjoy the miles of walking trail around Lady Bird Lake, watch the resident bats fly out at dusk from Congress Bridge, visit one of the many museums in the city centre or discover your new favourite band in a bar on 6th St. For an easy escape retreat to the nearby Hill Country where you can enjoy scenic views over the city.

Make a stop in historic Brenham, where the buildings of Main St remain from a bygone era and where the nearby historic park marks the site of the capital of the old Republic of Texas. Spend a day at the Houston Museum District where 20 museums and cultural centres are set around the impressive Hermann Park.
