Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort

Slip into seventh heaven at Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort, a flurry of luxury facilities mixed with beautiful landscapes.

Studded on Matira Point, the southern tip of this ravishing French Polynesian isle, Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort boasts the mountains of Otemanu and Pahia, blissful beaches and a blue lagoon as part of its jaw-dropping views, and within, there’s no end of luxury finishes and features to ensure a sumptuous stay. Emanating a typically local style, this Intercontinental resort pays its respect to Bora Bora while offering high-end experiences that the brand is - quite rightly - well-known for.

About Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort

Having been whisked off to Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort by boat from the local airport, settle into your overwater abode or beachfront haven and get accustomed to your new surroundings: crystal-clear sea, virgin sands and a gentle, South Pacific breeze. Soak up this exotic landscape a you laze on Matira or Vaitape beach, and if you’ve chosen to sleep above the sea then you can marvel at the underwater world through your glass coffee table, spying fish and coral; a very special touch indeed! When you can resist the lure of the lagoon no longer, dive straight in with a snorkel or pedal off on a kayak; there are also ray and shark feeding excursions for a surreal experience with nature. Swap the water for land and go biking through the verdant wilds of Bora Bora, hike to villages and meet the locals who make this island as unique as it is. Return to Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort for fine fare at Noa Noa and cocktails at one of the bars, or cocoon yourselves away with room service brought to you on a traditional outrigger canoe – now you know you’re in paradise.

    Room Types

    All Rooms

Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort offers the choice of sleeping on terra firma at one of the Beach Junior Suite Bungalows, set on the sand for immediate access to the beach, or in famously French Polynesian fashion at one of the overwater suites. These lie above the water’s surface and feature airy living spaces, outdoor bathrooms and, it goes without saying, extremely easy access to the lagoon itself. You can enjoy your very own aquarium thanks to the glass coffee tables that frame the sea below, and loll on your sun deck to relish the beautiful scenery around you; the suites at the end of the lagoon have the largest of the bunch and therefore the most generous of vistas. Whichever room type you choose, you can expect the same style in all of them: intricate carvings, tapa bark cloth and bamboo finishes, exuding that unmistakeable Bora Bora character.
