Mobile phones are not permitted to be carried during safari drives within any national park zones in India. However, guests are not required to travel without their devices. Mobile phones are typically secured inside the safari vehicle (locked in the jeep) or may be left at the hotel, depending on the safari arrangements. Drivers and naturalists are fully aware of this regulation and will guide guests accordingly.

This policy has been implemented by forest authorities to minimize disturbances to wildlife and to prevent misuse, such as unauthorized photography or phone calls during safari drives.
