Set in the scenic uplands of Ubud, the Mandapa is a luxurious retreat, perfect for absorbing the tranquillity of this picturesque part of Bali. Lush forests and expanses of paddy fields surround this opulent, exclusive hotel, which offers a full service spa and four on-site restaurants. Ubud is traditionally a spiritual centre for the Balinese, and the Mandapa celebrates the area’s heritage with a variety of seasonal activities and traditional events, such as the Purnama or 'full moon' festivals, which take place every month. Nearby attractions include the Goa Gajah cave, and the Pura Besakih, the largest Hindu temple in the country. Each of the Mandapa’s 60 serene villas and suites features 24-hour butler service and sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Villas range from one to three bedrooms, while suites are available in one of two varieties.

All UK Passport Holders require a Visa to enter Indonesia.

A Visa On Arrival can be purchased at all major airports for IDR500,000 (approximately US$35) which can be paid for in cash or by credit card, or an e-visa can be organised in advance at: https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/ 

Bali Tourism Levy 

Starting from February 14th, 2024, the Bali Provincial Government will enforce a mandatory Tourism Tax of IDR 150,000 (approx. US$10) for all international tourists arriving in to Bali by boat or plane.

This new tax is applicable to all foreigners visiting Bali on a tourism visa, and it is a one-time payment for the duration of their stay in Indonesia. To avoid delays on arrival you can pre-pay the arrival tax by https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/ or you can pay when you arrive in to Bali. This arrival tax only applies to arrivals into the Island of Bali.
