Villa Cora

This five star Villa Cora was built in the 1870s by Baron Oppenheim as a house for his wife and is decorated throughout to reflect this eccentric couple's initial vision, interests and obsessions. Roses are a theme throughout - there are more than 100 types in the gardens - as is decor inspired by the orient, classical art, sculpture and original frescoes. Each room is decorated in a unique style with antique furniture, luxurious furnishings, marble bathrooms and parquet flooring. While a boutique-style property, you’ll find the facilities of a much larger hotel including a subterranean full-service spa with sauna and steam room, highly regarded restaurant, cigar room and the only heated outdoor pool in Florence.
