Day 1: Maasai Mara

Arrive in Nairobi & Transfer to Maasai Mara

Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you will be greeted at the airport by a local representative. After a short briefing, you will then depart by road in a private vehicle, driving through the stunning landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and into the sprawling savanna wilderness of the Maasai Mara, home to some of the African continent’s most iconic wildlife including the coveted ‘Big Five’ species.

When you arrive at your accommodation, you’ll sit down for a delicious lunch before heading out on your first unforgettable safari game drive in the afternoon, exploring the teeming plains of the savanna and its wealth of wildlife.

You’ll then return to the lodge for dinner under the African stars.

Days 2-3: Maasai Mara

Exploring the Maasai Mara

Over the next two days, you’ll embark on both morning and evening game drives through the reserve for the opportunity to observe the Maasai Mara’s abundant wildlife, including prides of lions, lumbering elephants and, if visiting between July and October, one of nature’s greatest spectacles: the Great Migration.

During this incredible natural event, millions-strong herds of wildebeest, zebra and other herbivores thunder across the savanna plains in search of greener pastures, with the Maasai Mara’s fearsome predators in hot pursuit.

Between game drives, you can relax at the lodge and take in the evocative surroundings of the African bush, spending each evening watching the blazing sun redden the horizon and sitting out under a canopy of twinkling stars.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park

Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy a hearty breakfast as the sounds of the wakening savanna fill the air before departing by road to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at your next accommodation in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a game drive through the park, known for its plethora of birdlife including flamingoes, pelicans, secretary birds and fish eagles. The park also hosts one of the largest black rhino concentrations in the country as well as substantial numbers of white rhino. Additionally, you can spot a variety of other fascinating species throughout the park such as giraffe, zebra, buffalo, lion, leopard and various species of primate.

Enjoy stunning vistas of the lake and surrounding escarpments before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

Transfer to Amboseli National Park

Following breakfast, you’ll depart by road for Amboseli National Park, driving through Kenya’s scenic countryside. Amboseli is known for its large elephant herds and sensational views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak.

When you arrive at your next accommodation, you’ll sit down and enjoy a delicious lunch before taking some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, you’ll embark on a game drive to explore the park’s unique landscapes and rich wildlife, with the opportunity to glimpse species such as giraffe, zebra, cheetah and the ‘Big Five’ species.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

Game Drives in Amboseli National Park

You’ll spend the day exploring the vast swathes of wilderness which comprise Amboseli National Park, venturing across the yawning plains by safari vehicle in search of the park’s large elephant herds, the colossal peak of Kilimanjaro ever-looming in the background.

Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views across the park’s wide-open landscapes and keep your eyes peeled for sightings of the innumerable species which inhabit this thriving wilderness. Between game drives, you can enjoy the camp’s luxurious amenities and tranquil surroundings, soaking up the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Day 7: Diani Beach

Relish your final morning in Kenya’s enchanting savanna territory and enjoy a hearty breakfast before transferring to an airstrip for your flight to Diani Beach, located along Kenya’s tropical coastline on the turquoise shores of the Indian Ocean.

Once you land, you’ll be transferred by road to your next accommodation, which sits poised on the powdery white sands of the Kenyan coast. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure, sunbathing on the soft sands or swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the ocean.

Days 8-9: Diani Beach

The next two days are yours to spend as you please, offering ample time to unwind after your explorative safari experiences. The balmy tropical evenings offer the perfect opportunity for a romantic dinner by the beach under a starlit sky.

Day 10: Departure

Depart Nairobi
