As of 05 February 2023, in their effort to maximize the resort`s commitment to sustainability, and reducing food waste, Siyam World have implemented the following meal policy measures:
1. Guests are entitled for one meal in one of the restaurants in a meal period.
eg, if guests take their dinner at Wahoo during the evening, that will be part of their inclusion, and dinner in another restaurant in the same evening will be chargeable.
2. Guests are entitled for One starter, One main course and One dessert in the Ala Carte' restaurants.
3. Snack Lunch Menu at Pool Bars: Snack menus are designed to enable a quick and light lunch.
Environmental Green Tax Increase.
From the 1st January 2025, the Maldivian Government has increased its Green Tax. A charge of $6 USD per person per night will be collected directly from you on checkout of your resort in the Maldives. Children who are aged under 2 years old are exempt from this tax.
This tax is being implemented by the Maldivian government, and funds raised from the Green Tax will support the Maldives’ commitment to environmental sustainability, including:
· Marine conservation initiatives, such as protecting and regrowing coral reefs and marina life
· Waste management improvements, ensuring a cleaner and greener group of islands for everyone to enjoy
· Renewable energy projects, helping the Maldives, the locals and the hotels reduce their reliance on fossil fuels
Passport & Visa Information:
Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility, and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. We cannot accept responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements
All passengers are required to mandatorily complete and submit the online ‘Traveller Declaration Form’ 96 hours before arrival to the Maldives.
