A Tourist Fee of EUR 3 per person per night will be introduced in Mauritius.

Effective from 1st October 2025, this fee will apply to every tourist staying in designated accommodation establishments , payable upon check-in. Please note that children under 12 years of age will be exempt from this fee.

The funds will support sustainable tourism initiatives and infrastructure upgrades across the island.
