The design of Casa Andina Premium Puno is contemporary, though its exterior has a more traditional feel, made from wood, stone and terracotta on its pretty, tiled roof. Perks include spa treatment rooms, a jetty stretching out over the waters - your jumping off point for jaunts to islands like Taquile and Uros - and a private train station from where you can be whisked off to Cusco. As for the dining, you’ll be spoilt for choice with interesting dishes, such as trout fished from Lake Titicaca itself and the Alpaca carpaccio. Bon appetit!
