TRAVELLING TO SRI LANKA FROM THE UK IS CURRENTLY NOT POSSIBLE – SRI LANKA IS A RED LIST COUNTRY.
British Citizens returning from Sri Lanka to the UK are able to enter the UK, but with the following requirements:
· You will need to quarantine in a government appointed hotel for 10 days on return home to England; you will be liable to cover the costs of this quarantine
· You will need to take a pre-departure test (rapid antigen or PCR) prior to your return flight home
· You will also need to take a PCR test on Day 2 & Day 8 after arriving back into England
You may also be required to provide proof of a negative PCR test on arrival to your chosen destination – please check this prior to travel with the travel expert you booked your holiday with.
