Located along the southern coast of Sri Lanka, The Fortress Resort and Spa is designed as a replica of Galle’s famed Dutch Fort where modern design meets historic Dutch and Portuguese styles with Sri Lankan motifs. Set next to a golden beach, the resort offers world class facilities including a spa, swimming pool with views of the Indian Ocean and yoga, allowing guest to relax and unwind. The stylishly decorated rooms and suites feature open-plan bathrooms and state of the art amenities. Tourist visas are required for British Citizens travelling to Sri Lanka- We recommend you do this online prior to arrival www.eta.gov.lk.

Visa fee is USD 50 per person. For Summer 2026 the Visa cost has been waivered and it will be £0. Even though it will be FREE this summer, you must still apply and obtain the Visa.

All tourists arriving to Sri Lanka can fill the Arrival Card (immigration) online through www.immigration.gov.lk

Please be advised that all passengers will be required to complete a Health Declaration Form upon arrival
