The inspirational setting of Koh Lanta attracts many divers who want to explore the clear waters and beautiful coral reefs. Heading inland, the island has fascinating caves, filled with hidden pools and rock formations and you can trek through the Ko Lanta National Park either on foot or on an elephant. If you want to get a taste of the local life, head to Lanta Old Town, where you can pick up some souvenirs or art, stroll amongst those who live on the island and eat fresh seafood.

By trekking through a jungle, you reach Khao Mai Kaew caves, where you can see the amazing stalagmites and stalactites and even swim in a cavern pool. Ko Lanta Noi is a smaller island and a trip here gives a view of local life away from the tourists.
