Clean lines and cool décor – Raya Heritage cleverly mixes traditional Lanna architecture with contemporary design. Relax at the riverside bar where evening cocktails are served or take the complimentary shuttle into the old town.

About Raya Heritage

On the banks of the River Ping in unhurried northern Thailand, you’ll discover a tranquil river sanctuary of understated luxury and timeless elegance with a contemporary take on traditional Lanna architecture. Less than half an hour from the centre of Chiang Mai – the ‘capital of the north’ – is Raya Heritage, a brand new hotel where the focus is on using natural materials including terracotta tiles and teak wood. Suites are airy spaces decorated in subtle shades of cream and white with decorative accents created by local craftsmen and artisans. Tear yourself away from the riverside bar and day spa with its Thai healing steam room and take the complimentary shuttle into the heart of the city to explore sacred temples and bustling markets – we love the night bazaar for delicious street food.
