Play your way through South Africa’s most acclaimed golf courses. Tee off in Sun City’s Gary Player and Lost City courses, enjoy the challenges of the Drakensberg Mountains’ Champagne Sports Resort and take to the greens at Royal Swazi in Swaziland. Don’t worry if you’re not a golfer – non-players are well catered to with exciting Big 5 game viewing in Pilanesberg, Hluhluwe and Kruger, a historic tour of the Battlefields, a Durban city tour and a visit to a Swazi glass-making factory.

Day 1 (Pretoria - Rustenburg )

Depart Rovos Rail Station in Pretoria and spend the day on-board at your leisure as you travel to Rustenburg for an overnight stop.

Day 2 (Sun City - Heidelberg)

Sun City - Heidelberg

Wake up early and enjoy a game drive in Pilanesberg Game Reserve and a chance to explore the Lost City. Golfers can tee off at Lost City or Gary Player Country Club at Sun City, known for its challenging terrain of mountain, desert and African parkland. Enjoy lunch at the club and dinner on-board the train as it travels towards Heidelberg.

Spend the day at leisure on-board the train as you travel onwards to Estcourt.

Enjoy a guided tour of the Battlefields and lunch at Spionkop Lodge with a choice of shopping or a walk at Champagne Resort. Golfers can spend the day at the 18-hole Champagne Sports Resort with undulating terrain and valleys beneath the Champagne and Cathkin Peaks. Have lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure before departing for Durban.

Head off for a city tour of Durban while golfers hit the greens early at Durban Country Club or Beachwood. Meet up for lunch at Durban Country Club or Beachwood before departing for Hluhluwe.
