Day at leisure

Once arrived in Cape Town International Airport, you will be met and assisted with your transfer to your hotel. Check in and spend the remainder of the day at leisure either by the pool side or enjoying a well deserved spa treatment following your long flight.

City Tour and Table Mountain

Pick up in the afternoon from the hotel for a scheduled City Tour. The tour ends with a visit to Table Mountain (depending on weather). Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay to Hout Bay. Continue via Chapmans Peak to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve. Take a historic Simons Town tour - a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. End the day with a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Winelands

Wind your way to the heart of the Cape Winelands through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch Homesteads.

Day 5 ( Cape Town - Oudtshoorn )

Driving along Route 62

Depart Cape Town and travel along Route 62 to Barrydale. Continue to Oudtshoorn – the ‘feather capital’ of the world. Visit a working ostrich farm for a guided tour.

Day 6 (Plettenbery Bay )

Tour of the Cango Caves

Morning tour of the Cango Caves before continue to the town of Knysna. Take some time at leisure at the Knysna Waterfront before proceeding to The Crags near Plettenberg Bay. Embark on an informative cruise up the Keurbooms River before arriving at your accommodation where you shall spend the following two nights.

Wine tasting at Bramon Wine Estate

Following breakfast you visit Birds of Eden, the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world. Proceed to Bramon Wine Estate for a horse-drawn carriage trail at the estate, including wine tasting and light tapas followed by lunch. Then return to the lodge for the remainder of the afternoon at leisure

Day 7 ( Plettenberg Bay )

Day 8 ( Plettenberg Bay - Port Elizabeth )

Travel day

After breakfast your journey takes you along the final leg of the Garden Route to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park. Enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River mouth gorge offering incredible views before arriving in Port Elizabeth for the evening.

Day 9 ( Port Elizabeth - Johannesburg )

Flight from PE to JNB

This morning you shall be transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, transfer to your hotel and later embark on a scheduled afternoon Johannesburg City Tour – a booming and happening city. Return to your Hotel for the remainder of the evening. Accommodation: Protea Hotel Balalaika

Day 9 ( Port Elizabeth - Johannesburg )

Township tour and Apartheid Museum)

Today you will visit the townships of Soweto followed by an afternoon of exploring the exhibit at the Apartheid Museum. Lunch today will be enjoyed at a local tavern in Soweto.

Panorama Route

Depart Johannesburg and travel to Mpumalanga via the magnificent Panorama Route. From many well-positioned vantage points one has a view of the 33km long gorge, which starts at ‘’Bourkes Luck Porholes’’ and ends at the ‘’Three Rondawels’’. Time and weather permitting, stop at God’s Window.

Day 12 ( Mpumalanga - Kruger National Park )

Game Drives

After breakfast and check-out formalities, you will be transferred to your lodge located in a private reserve adjacent to the Greater Kruger National Park for an African Safari experience. Morning and evening game tracking drives in 4x4 vehicles, allows you to be in close contact with South Africa’s extensive wildlife.

Game Drives

Enjoy a full day of relaxation, combined with the excitement of a memorable safari experience with the scheduled game viewing activities and lodge facilities.

Depart for the UK

Time permitting, embark on your final early morning game viewing activity before returning to camp for breakfast followed by check-out formalities.

You shall be collected for your transfer to Hoedspruit OR Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport where the tour ends.
