Embark on a scintillating six day tour of inner Sri Lanka followed five nights on the beach of beautiful Beruwela.
Filled with cultural jewels and national treasures, Sri Lanka’s serene landscapes, tropical rainforests, dazzling lakes and magnificent mountain ranges offer a sensational holiday experience. Your tour will take you to some of the country’s most scenic and breathtaking sites including Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Dambulla Cave Temple, The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, and Nuwara Eliya, and also includes a safari at Minneriva National Park.
Following your tour you will spend four relaxing days in blissful Beruwela, where you can simply bask in the sun and enjoy delectable fresh seafood, or choose to explore a little further afield.

On your first full day in Sri Lanka you will visit the walled city of Polonnaruwa, the second most ancient kingdom in Sri Lanka and a Unesco World Heritage Site. Explore breathtaking ruins, monasteries, temples, bathing pools and Buddhist statues.

Dambulla - Sigiriya - Dambulla
This morning you will proceed to Sigiriya to climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most iconic sites. Built in the 5th century, Sigiriya rises 200 metres above a forested plain and has a magnificent palace perched on its summit with beautiful frescoes to discover along the way. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of Asia's best preserved cities of the first millennium.

Dambulla - Kandy
After enjoying breakfast you will depart to the hill capital of Kandy. En route you will visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 1st century BC. First used as a refuge by an ancient king who, on regaining his throne, commissioned magnificent carved images with the rock. Within this complex, made up of five caves, there are over 150 depictions of Buddha, including one figure spanning an impressive 15 metres!

Kandy - Nurawa Eliya - Kandy
You will explore the Royal Botanical Gardens this morning, originally created in the 18th century for King Kirthi Sri Rajasingha and spanning 150 acres, making it the largest of Sri Lanka's three main botanical gardens. Along with beautiful orchards and towering bamboo, you'll come across coffee, nutmeg, and fig trees.
