City Tour of Amman
Today embark on a city tour of Amman. Jordan’s capital, known as the ‘white city’ thanks to its white limestone buildings, is a modern metropolis with a historic past. Carved out of rose-coloured sandstone, this UNESCO World Heritage Site has earned the nickname, the ‘Red Rose City’ and had a staring cameo in ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’. Your expert guide is on hand as you walk through this sprawling site – from your first glimpse of the iconic Treasury up the 800 steps leading to the monastery (worth the hike for its stunning vistas).
