Day 1 (Dar es Salaam )

Arrive at Dar es Salaam Airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel located within the Dar es Salaam city centre. You have the rest of the afternoon to settle into your hotel and explore the city at your own pace.

Day 1 (Dar es Salaam )

Day 2 (Dar es Salaam – Udzungwa)

Dar es Salaam – Udzungwa

After breakfast, you will be met by your safari driver for your scenic drive to Udzungwa, equipped with picnic lunch. Arriving in the afternoon, you will head off on a trek through the Udzungwa Mountains with the chance to enjoy some spectacular bird watching and game viewing. Return to the camp in time for dinner.

Day 2 (Dar es Salaam – Udzungwa)

After breakfast, depart for Ruaha with a packed lunch. Enjoy a thrilling game drive en route to the camp located inside the park. Ruaha, with an area of 10,300sq.km, is the second largest national park - and second largest elephant sanctuary - in Tanzania.

Follow the great Ruaha River, home to a large number of hippos and crocodiles. The wide variety of animals include Greater and Lesser Kudu, Roan and Sable Antelope. Birdlife is rich, with over 370 species recorded.

Day 3 (Udzungwa - Ruaha National Park)

Day 6 (Ruaha National Park - Morogoro Town)

After breakfast, climb into your safari vehicle for the drive to your lodge within Selous Game Reserve - complete with a packed lunch and a chance to game view along the way. The camp is positioned on the banks of the Rufiji River which allows the opportunity to witness hippo and crocodile in their natural habitat. On arrival at the camp, you will have some time to relax and soak in the African bush atmosphere as the crew set up your camp for dinner.

Day 7 (Morogoro Town - Selous Game Reserve)

After a hearty breakfast, you will depart for your full day game drive with a packed lunch. Today you will get to see a variety of game, including the rare African dog. Selous Game Reserve, Africa's largest wildlife sanctuary, is bigger than Denmark and four times the size of the Serengeti. It has the world's largest number of big game within its borders, as well as over 350 species of birdlife on the cards for twitchers. Arrive back at your camp in the early evening in time for dinner.
